They don't really schedule jobs with you after you indicate an issue so I've gotten several calls unexpectedly with them waiting outside the door while I'm at work. Important to add cable TV connection to rooms (especially to master room).

The sales team is amazing and spot on. The mortgage process was the easiest I've ever experienced. The actual move in was a bit bumpy, but the builder made everything right.

Love the use of space in my home , and the open layout. The high ceilings are also a great feature, and the size of the bedrooms are really good, as well as bathrooms. I would of liked for the indoor paint to be satin instead of flat, white is fine but the walls easily scratch and I wish I didn't have to worry about painting wall so soon. Wish they would consider a little more space between homes, and also to proportion the lots in a more uniform way, some homes are closer together and my neighbor has more space because the way the house was placed. ... First new home. Meets expectations

The layout and materials used are better than other home builders I have worked with. Centex has been responsive throughout the process. Their sales staff could definitely be more knowledgeable. Had a major issue with a room not being constructed the way I was told it would be which soured me to layout in general. Construction manager was fantastic though and great to work with. ... More

The buying process was seamless.

I really enjoyed seeing the home built every step of the way. From picking a lot, home style, stones, color scheme, etc. From sales, builders all the way to closing staff, they all contributed to make this an easy process.

We love our home! Now that we’ve been living in it for a month, the rose colored glasses have faded and we’ve begun noticing the lack of attention to little details- many scratches/dents on cabinetry in kitchen that have been colored over with wood paint, caulk touch up needed where tile meets baseboard & some smaller repairs that they’ve already attended to. Overall, if these are the only issues we’ve found so far- we’re in good shape. My overall experience with centex was great. I am good with the building process. After being in my home for almost 2 months now, I'm still completely satisfied.

Pretty happy

I actually used to work for Centex years ago. They were a great company then and now going through the experience as a buyer, the home and all that comes "standard" rather than paying for upgrades on everything was the reason I went with them.

They have spacious floor plans , I like that part . But I feel materials are not so strong . Could be more better .

It takes forever with repeated calls to get issues addressed

Centex provides good service when you reach out for any home defects. There will be flaws but its just something to monitor as time goes on.
