Century standard materials in the house start high and upgrades just exceed from there. Gorgeous design and detailing.

I can understand that the coronavirus pandemic has affected all companies, but we reported the issues a few months back and not much has been fixed. We were told that as soon as workers for different things (tile grout, cabinets etc.) become available the issues would be fixed. They keep building more houses in our community, which means thise workers are back, but our issues haven’t been fixed. Really bad customer service on this front. ... More

With regards to seeing the trades building homes and service techs servicing homes. We are still building homes through state/federal guidelines where they have little to no contact with the general public. The service side of bussniss is different as they would generally have direct contact with homeowners. State and federal guidelines are used here as well but also each company has its own response allowing it's personal in someone's home. My only main issue is the communication and getting a timely response. I need a few things done that weren’t completed at closing. I did what the builder said and filled out a water try claim and still haven’t heard back. They wanted me to wait to do the new home evaluation until after they completed the tasks but it’s been almost 5 months. I’m over it. ... More

Communication was very good throughout the entire process. Reasonable price for model homes available. Disappointed that builder allows for same models side by side with different elevations. Craftsmanship of tradesman was solid throughout the process until a few weeks before closing, seem to rush to complete on time leaving unfavorable construction defects that needs correcting. ... The house buying experience with Century was great. The only issue I've had is after my walk-thru, things that were supposed to be fixed or repaired, was not. I will be getting it all fixed and completed I hope before my one year warranty expires!

Was not a bad a horrible experience. A little rocky in the end getting some things fixed. We are enjoying our home. We’ll know better next time how to handle the process.

Not happy, tiles are not done correctly, some part of wood floors are showing gaps. Dish washer is leaking, one lignt in the kitchen is not matched with the rest. Tiles and floors are not properly cleaned. Stain that won't come off.

Blake was easy to work with. We got a great lot with mature trees, just wish we had known about the smell beforehand. The house has a great layout and fits our needs perfectly. The lack of choices was frustrating, especially with the tile. We are having to change it after closing ourselves and of course now the wood look tile is going into the newer houses with cabinets that have less detail/are more modern. The quality of materials is there, but the attention to detail by the subs is lacking. All white paint was applied too thick and doors are damaged just from being shut along with items sticking to shelving, just to name the biggest example besides our driveway that will be resurfaced. Overall we are happy, just should have been pickier during our walk through I guess. (Though.. if I see the clean simple trim from the model start going into the new houses like we wanted I may just have a heart attack since I knew at signing we would not get it, but holy cow the trim in this house is ornate.) Overall, this experience has had ups and down. There were many problems we need to have fixed at our walk-through that were not fixed, and we had to do a second walk-through where things still were not complete after signing. Those items plus a list of 12 other items had to go to warranty claim. Both Chuck and Ryan are great, however, everyone else like tradesman have not been hospitable. If you do the job right the first time, then we do not have to call you, however, if it was incomplete or done poorly, its should be fixed since it is a BRAND NEW home. Example: Entry way transition has offset cuts for the transition piece, so they are not centered. These are easy cuts to make, you should have done it right the first time, yet I have to hear a tradesman complain about the work, and ask me if I have extra trim for the job. ... More

Living in the new house has been great and everything has been amazing. The only thing that’s bother some is the building that’s still going on around my house has caused a lot of careless trash on the side of my house and in my lawn and street. I understand there will be some that goes on with construction but the workers are just very careless with their lunch trash and that type of stuff and really dirties up the neighborhood. ... More

Heather was great during the home buying process. But since I’ve closed escrow, the customer experience has just been ok. I understand that with COVID things have been challenging. But the only time I have contact with anyone is if I reach out to them. Kyle has been great. Responsive and efficient. Not sure what happened to the “other guy”. Not sure if the team is short staffed or what. Also, someone needs to do a better job clean up these construction sites. My neighbors and I always have trash in our yards. ... More
