I am curious as to why the model home of the Refuge, which I chose, has two lights built into the ceiling of the second bedroom and I have none. The overall quality of the home is quite good and I’m very happy to be living here.

We bought a home that had fallen out of escrow and the sales team had us convinced the sale price was reduced twice and we were getting a great deal. The appraisal came in $10K below the selling price so I asked three times for a price adjustment. Each time the response was they would need to run it by the manager, but no one ever gave us an answer to our request. Otherwise the sale went smoothly. The sales staff is knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Everyone has been attentive after the sale and they are very good about warranty repairs and follow-up. The process overall was good. We had a good sales person and good staff at the design center. One thought I had that I would advise new buyers is to consider what the landscaping package includes. This is the biggest after market expense. If we had purchased the package it would have had a nominal impact on our monthly payment and we could have supplemented after market. Just my thoughts. ... Everything was great until we got ready to close, our lender was ready but Del Web was not. Painting on the interior was fair at best.

We liked our sales agent immensely. The purchase process was simple and went smoothly. We did not feel that the design center gave us enough options to get exactly the home we wanted. We ended up settling for items in the home that we are not truly happy with. The home I purchased is really well built in almost every way. However, when they come across a problem that affects many if not most homeowners they tell us what we need to do to fix the problem. In particular they installed a cheap garage door that does not allow for adjustments. Yes I have spoken to multiple Experts and and I am using their words. A new home should have a secure closing garage door. We live in a windy and Sandy area and I have owned 2 other homes in the area and have never had this problem. I expect a number of us will be contacting higher Pulte management to discuss solutions to what is clearly a major problem for many homeowners and the lack of a real solution we have received. Generally happy. Had trouble with Pulte Mortage, getting Pulte to supply Tesla Solar docs and still not turned on after 3 weeks. Sub standard bath fixtures and Whirlpool really cheap.

We love our new home! We love the community! The overall home buying experience was very good. There are opportunities for greatness, however. Tracy, our sales rep, was amazing. Professional and knowledgeable every step of the way. She helped made the process smooth and delightful and instilled confidence in us. The options selection was the area of biggest concern for us. The one issue I have is I feel there should be more communication with Del Webb regarding HOA issues . Given their large size, Pulte has well honed floorplans. But lack of information at both sales (where structural options are chosen) and the design center, are problematic.
