I must say most issues with our home were satisfied by having to go past the on site builder and appealing to upper management. The customer service manager on site ( responsible for issues after closing) was completely the opposite. He made sure every item was completed ! A word of advice on the walk through is to check all appliances for any dents or scratches as we were blamed for construction damage (verified by whirlpool representative) to our refrigerator which was not noticed in our 30 minute walk through because it was partially hidden by cabinet casing enclosing the refrigerator. Their reason for not replacing was you should have noticed on walk through so be careful and thorough and allow enough time before closing to note issues with your construction coordinator! ... More

Some of the installed product are faulty, but the builder is prompt in responding to try to correct the issue. We had a crack granite counter top with a scratch sink, and are still waiting it to be change. A portion of the shower does not drains correctly. But otherwise, 90% of the structure is in excellent condition. Subcontractors also should explain and give instructions and manuals of their work, for example the pool equipment. Finally the Installation of the smart home was disappointing and at one point it has to be fixed by another builder subcontractor. The cost of the smart home component is very high for what they offer, and the service is not good. Finally, they should discuss some of the landscaping with the new owner before doing it. The rep that did the virtual walk through (because of Covid-19) was excellent really knew his stuff. There were a few minor issues that need to be addressed and based on what I have experienced I expect them to be handled in a timely manor. Because of the Covid we are transitioning to our new home in phases we hope to be settled in soon. I would highly recommend the people we worked with. Very nice community. Very different from other Del Webb communities, not as lush. Landscaping isn’t as nice as other 55+ communities in Port St Lucie, and clubhouse is small with social hall building many years out yet. But still very nice place to live. ... More

Since you asked....Although we moved in 3/26/2020, there hasn’t been any follow up to concerns about issues that required Del Webb post settlement response at our home. The excuse is always Covid, yet 1) building construction nearby for Del Webb continues with workers working shoulder to shoulder, as does 2) landscaping in our neighborhood, as well as 3) business back to normal for staffing at the sales office We finally hired someone to paint out front door. Landscaping for our lot has still not been completed. Del Webb has collected HOA fees for 1.5 years but out community center has still not opened, not even outdoor activities such as pickle ball courts, even though county parks are open at some distance from Del Webb. Neighbors who have lived here for over a year are furious over this. Del Webb’s “social director “ hasn’t even provided an estimated date for opening. Not happy we can’t use the pool either, even though CDC says it’s safe to use an outdoor chlorinated pools. You asked, so I’m telling the truth. ... More

Pay attention to your walkthrough! After closing I found the following - scratched cabinet doors (replacing), cracked and chipped tiles (going through repairs now), floor tiles were left with caulk and grout residue on most of them (spent 2 weeks cleaning), several cracked tiles were found, outlets were loose, fridge needed warranty service already (due to poor installation), currently fighting with countertop maker (terrible island granite - many chips and couple saw marks- requesting replacement, other countertop is great, Expected better workmanship. Cleaning crew were worthless. Have to stay on top of them if you can. Tough if moving from another state. Will be a beautiful house once all issues have been resolved. ... More

My home was not ready when promised. It has a plethora of problems some of which are being addressed. I also was not offered all available options when I selected the interior finishes so beware whom you deal with.

Sales person was great until problems with construction surfaced and then all communication ceased. construction supervisor failed to answer most of our inquires and failed to follow thru on verbal commitments whether they be communication or physical construction. We were not at all pleased with his performance. Noticed several issues as soon as we moved in. The toilet bowl leaked, trim was missing from under dishwasher, peep hole improperly installed, hole in ceiling next to a vent, light fell out of ceiling and is hanging by the wires and our doorbell improperly wired. Our sprinkler system has not worked for almost 2 months. Numerous calls and several attempts later and they are still not working. After moving in it was determined that a drainage system needed to be installed so they show up one day without notice and start tearing up my poorly laid sod and install drainage pipes that should have been installed when the house was built. The workers just laid the bushes they dug up on top of the soil wherever they thought they belonged. All this is just the tip of the iceberg. Things like screens pulling out of the Lanai that have holes in them, etc. None of the issues are being addressed because of the Corona virus but there is no reason a repairman couldn't enter the house wearing a mask and gloves to complete the repairs and some of the repairs are outside of the home. If I can safely shop at Publix, sit in a restaurant and have a meal or go for a walk on the beach there is no reason repairs can't be made. Stop using Corona virus as an excuse and start making repairs. The icing on the cake is our club house that was supposed to be completed before we moved in on April 1st is still not finished. Houses are being built by the dozens but repairs can't be completed. Very dissatisfied. . ... More

Do not close until everything in your Pulte home has been done to your satisfaction. It might not get done after you close. We had excessive things wrong in the home and they are still fixing things after almost 2 months. Then to fix it, they give you a 4 hour window to show up, and then might not even show, or only fix half of what was scheduled. We had to escalate up thru corporate and even they did not care.
