There have been good experiences in this process unfortunately there have been some that have been not. It’s a shame that the construction manager who should manage the building of your home settles for a standard called, it’s close enough. He will tell you what you want to hear so that you move along and when he doesn’t deliver, he will not answer your emails, texts or phone calls. The warranty customer service area is slow and does not keep you in the loop as to where your work order is. At the beginning we were excited and confident. During the meeting at Design Center we realized some loopholes in the process. Complete misinformed and disappointed during the building process. Right after move we found 1. front door lock was broken, 2. Furnace was not connected to gas pipe - heat was not working, found millions of ants that was eradicated at my expense, garage door was not going down - fixed at my expense, found spilled concrete on front hallway, entire driveway was not forced sprayed (clean) as others, found front lawn in very dried state including small tree was dying - very few leaves also the rest of grass around the house was very dried and brown. NOT impressed with total quality of house. Found too many fixes needed before move in, such as paint not finished, caulking missing in corners, some recessed lights missing..... ... More

Do not be pressured into closing (penalty clause in contract) until a complete, diligent, and systematic inspection is done by the builder. After a complete inspection by the builder, then do your punch list review. By no means should you be the quality control inspector in place of Pulte. You are paying them to do this. They don't pay you to do this. Secondly, do not be pressured with time constraints at the Design Office. Take as long as you require. It is your money! Also, when upgrading your design options you will not get the value of the standard option reduced from the upgrade cost. Thus, you pay for the standard default cost plus the upgrade cost. In short, a gouge. As an example, the cost of paint upgrade to a different color was a healthy $2000 for us. No change in labor or materials. Pulte sales told us it was because of contract requirements with Sherwin Williams, their paint supplier. We checked with SW. It isn't. SW said there is no cost differential to them. To date, overall trust in Pulte operation is very low by our experiences. ... More

The builder Pulte did a horrible job building this brand new home. I have a list of repairs and a basement leaking water. I hope to work with them on repairs but if. not, I definitely would never recommend this builder!

You must hire your own Home Inspector because there are serious mistakes being made by builder in this subdivision that is serious. Pultegroup needs to make some big changes in construction quality as it is poor
