Everyone involved with the process of purchasing a home in Bellwether have been very courteous and helpful in our search and decision making in buying a new home. Everything went very smoothly.

Closed on our new home 5 weeks ago already and both my wife and I are so very happy that we moved up our plans to live in a Del Webb Community, we just love it!

Inevitably, I wish I had added other items to our house.

We were kept informed on the progress of the home. We had access to the home as it was being built which kept the excitement of a new home fresh. Everything was finishing on time but the cabinets. The driveways, grading, landscaping and exterior work are not completed yet due to the time of year that we have moved in. Therefore, we cannot give a final overall grade. Our experience thus far with Pulte and all the construction crews has been outstanding. We are pleased with our new home and the quality. The workers were very efficient! Staff is helpful and always pleasant.

We were so excited when we heard that Del Webb would be building in our community so we waited and were one of the first ones to purchase here. The building process was exciting as we met with our sales associate, and visited the design center, to make our choices and design our dream home. It was fun to be able to drive by during the off construction times to check on the progress of our home. Our project manager was awesome and kept us up-to-date on the activity as well as providing walk throughs during the build. If we had any concerns, he was always very prompt in responding. Fun to work with from the sales through design phase and build phase. We have enjoyed our new home.

Construction phases all went smoothly and our construction manager was SUPER to work with. Loan application and mortgage process was very frustrating. Worked with multiple people each asking for the same things over and over again. Process started earlier than expected and seemed to go on and on to the very last minute. We had to build our house virtual because we were living in Florida and didn't want to travel because of COVID. The initial experience with our salesperson wasn't what we expected. Once the building experience started and we worked with Daryl (the project foreman) everything went smoothly and Daryl couldn't have helped more. Because of Covid-19 restrictions, we were not able to visit our home during the build. We first saw it on the final walkthrough. The shower border had been missed by all involved in that process. It was a key design feature of our home, so we did ask that it be added after closing. A couple crucial mistakes were made in the first redo, one which was corrected and one that could not be. There are multiple ridges in the grout where new grout was put over a bad initial grouting. Had more border tile been obtained at that time or even now, that could be corrected, but we were told it was not easy to get. There was not even one extra pebble of tile. A couple "I'm sorries, and that is the best we can do" do not make me feel better about how our $5,000 shower looks. My advice is that if you cannot be present frequently during the build, give a copy of your final change order to a close friend or family to stay on top of every part of the building process. Do not assume that what you ordered and have in writing will necessarily happen. We learned the hard way, and I have no sense this will ever be resolved to my satisfaction. ... More

Mostly good quality. The process for changes before closing was mostly not an option and too complicated and somewhat confusing after closing. Making changes after closing if at all possible, in our opinion, takes too long to get a response from the management board. Good attention until closing. Slow response and communication after closing. The phone numbers for help with problems after closing that is placed on the inside of the doors below the sink, are too low and not convenient for older people to see and access. They should have been place at a higher level and more convenient place, eg. inside an upper cabinet door. ... More

Be prepared to pay 35-40% higher than the advertised base price. Everything adds up. A lot of consumers thinks it closer to 10% and are really shocked when they see their bottom line.

Homeowner needs more say on approving driveway’s, landscaping.

We had to make major building decisions within short amount of time allowed.

Colleen did a great job supporting me through the planing and purchase.

My Design Meeting was held 8 months before occupancy and no changes were allowed even if I wanted additional features. Reported issues 3 weeks ago and still no action in resolving.

Everything from a refrigerator that was installed incorrectly and rattled, to a furnace that was wired incorrectly and was cycling thru with the fan not turning on. There was a dryer vent issue, lock issue and dripping faucet that is on its second service call. I’m not breaking these things, they came broken. ... More

I am pleased with the quality of the workmanship that went into my home. There were some issues that stalled the closing of my property, which had me in tears. I felt that I was literally interrogated by one of your sales personal. Thankfully there was an understanding Pulte employee who guided me through working out a solution to complete the sale in a timely fashion. I'm also a remodeling contractor & have built 4 homes. I own Kal's Contracting & Plumbing. The homes are over priced for the finishes you provide. Poor communication. No response to warranty items submitted on the owners website. The only thing I would recommend is the location of the neighborhood.
