Beside a couple hiccups with the custom items we selected (which were corrected) the process was about as smooth as you would hope. And the home is beautiful.

Make sure you get he irrigation system put in, we were talked out of it by our guy that sold us our lot. Big mistake. You should also find out about the rates for bring vehicles into the state, we found out and were blown away by the costs. Knowing some of the up front costs, could make the move a lot easier. Great home buying experience overall!

We started with some bad experiences in sales. When that changed we seem to have missed a lot of info. There was alate start on our home and that has caused some problems, but overall we are well pleased.

I completed the building process from 1300 miles away. It would not have been possible without a construction liaison who stayed in close contact.

All in all a good experience

So far a great experience. Few things could be improved on but all in all good experience.

Great house with good workmanship

Many lay-outs to choose from although there were no apartment models available for viewing when I purchased my apartment in Building 1.

If you order the standard Whirlpool dishwasher, expect your contents to be only partially dry, even with the high temp dry and a rinse aid. A whirlpool technician sent to correct the problem attributes it to plastic materials instead of steel. They can't achieve a complete dry. ... More

Love my new home and am very pleased with it. Have found a few minor issues with our new home but they were either quickly fixed or we fixed them ourselves. Truly believe it is a great benefit to be close while the house is being built and check on it at least once a week. We found several issues during the building that were quickly fixed. If they had not been pointed out by us would they have been caught in time to fix or caught at all? It appears at times that the subcontractor is more concerned with just completing the task and moving on the next house vice actually caring for the quality of his work. ... More

Compared to the Del Webb communities in Wickenburg and Rio Verde this is a steal.

Good value.

Extremely nice quality and very professional construction process and crew. Not over impressed with the HOA. They are not pro homeowner and a bit rude. Overall I am happy with the quality of the home.

Everything was excellent, above standard EXCEPT floor tiles. We have at least a dozen hollow tiles that are not covered by warranty and four that are uneven one cracked and three that move when you walk on them

We were so excited when we heard that Del Webb would be building in our community so we waited and were one of the first ones to purchase here. The building process was exciting as we met with our sales associate, and visited the design center, to make our choices and design our dream home. It was fun to be able to drive by during the off construction times to check on the progress of our home. Our project manager was awesome and kept us up-to-date on the activity as well as providing walk throughs during the build. If we had any concerns, he was always very prompt in responding. All trim work excessive caulking droplets on base boards All door trims either not caulked around completely on trim Poor paint quality lots of spots where door shows bare wood or top of door no paint at all Grout cracking in guest bathroom tile surround All base boards cracking grout at base of tile floor and base boards Master bath water closet walls caulking in corners Of walls Master bath back splash at counter top cracking or poor workmanship Kitchen cabinets nail holes not filled and not stained Drawer under stove does not close on one side Oven hood fan/light controls sticking so can not turn off. I bought my home from the phone. I am from another state, however, my realtor and the sales agent were fantastic. I made a lot of calls and they had a lot of patience. If you are lucky enough to select upgrades make sure you think everything through.

Understand you contract before you buy.

We love the house, except . . . the concrete work is shoddy. The garage floor has a rough section near the wall. Additionally, patches were required closer to the center of the floor, which a friend told me was caused by the carpenters placing two by fours used for bracing the walls into the wet concrete floor. Was an excellent experience while house was being built. Chad our supervisor was excellent. The workers seemed to take care of any and all things. I do have an issue with the landscape people. Once they put in a very sparse space and problems came up they ignored all my needs to fix the items that had problems. I had to pay someone outside to take care of the problems. Over all, we are very satisfied with the building process of our Del Webb home. If I had to make a critique I would say that given the 55 and over age range of the community, there are some things that could be a little more age friendly within the home, and I would have like to have seen a little more flexibility in the finishes selection process. Examples: I wanted the microwave moved to the lower cabinet next to the fridge and I wanted the white subway tile but with gray grout. They could do neither of those. ... More

Everyone we dealt with was very professional and super helpful. Throughout the process we were kept in the loop the entire time. Our home was completed ahead of schedule which definitely was a plus!
