...we moved in two months ago and still have zero options for cable/internet. It’s 2019, the internet is not optional! Should have been ready to go before closing! Otherwise great house and great experience.

The building manager, Giovani, was wonderful with the home building process. He was accessible, knowledgeable, open minded, flexible and helpful. He made the home building process not just easy, but fun for us as buyers. He addressed our concerns quickly and educated us about many things along the way. We love our highland home! The first builder project manager we had did not send updates and we didn’t feel included in the building process. We had several glitches through the finance and closing processes with document recording, closing dollar amount, holding keys at closing over $50 that was a quality review issue on the title and finance side and last minute upgrades that had to be installed. When Jesse came in and took over near closing he has treated us not only fairly but has gone above and beyond to ensure everything in our home is satisfactory for us. The best thing has been no issues (except bad thermostats which were promptly replaced by the builder) after closing. Highland builds a quality house, and they back up their work.

Ensure contracted workers are not souring Highlands name by their workmanship.

Sales & Construction teams both exhibit professionalism.

Overall the home is awesome. Small things that could have easily been fixed before I moved in were clogged drains, scratches on the cabinets, front door finish, yard watering system issues, etc. Highland Homes was responsive to fix the issues.

We have enjoyed purchasing a Highland Home and feel that it is truly a beautiful, well built home. Their response time to any issues we have had has been very good and we are overall very pleased with our purchase!

Very nice experience from buying till closing.

My wife and I love the home; however, our AC unit is not up to par. The temp in the house is 72 degrees, but the humidity level has been as high as 83%. We bought a small portable dehumidifier to help control the humidity level to something a little more tolerable, like 50-55%. ... More

We were pleased overall with our building experience with Highland Homes. There were some quality of workmanship issues with some of the finishing crews at the end of our build, but our builder was helpful in trying to resolve those issues. Very pleased with our home. Very comfortable and satisfied. Surprised there were no spouting on rear roof over patio. That should not be an option; it is as essential as spouting on front roof.

Finish details inside and outside could be better. There noise on the vents, the door chime was broken inside the mechanism and fixed with a piece of card board. The doors don’t seal well. Highland made it very easy to buy our home. We would buy again from them.
