We were looking for our first home together and had little luck finding the style and finishes we wanted in the price point we were hoping to stay within. We came here and was greeting by Monica and shown around. After seeing the finishes, price and neighborhood we decided this was the place for us. All along the way Monica was very friendly and helpful with answering any questions that came up. Picking out finishes was fun although I wish there were a few other options such as baseboard Trump style but that was all minor. I received outstanding service from beginning to end. I'm extremely impressed and pleased with my entire home purchase experience.

I am happy so far with my new home. Sales (Danielle) and construction crew (Kyle) were awesome. Vinny was great after the sale as well. Quality construction and value for money. The only shortcoming would be that I think KHOV should have made tiling standard in the living areas instead of carpet. Having tile in the living areas ended up being a sizeable upgrade. Or at least offer a credit if not installing the standard carpet and instead opting for another type of flooring. ... More

It’s never been easier to buy a house

The townhome was delivered on time and as promised. Very few issues encountered in the first month post-closing. They are being resolved in a timely fashion and with excellent customer service despite the unfortunate timing with the COVID 19 virus

Great experience and company.

Our experience has been positive. We live in a construction area as new places are prepared for sale, so the noise, mess, and road issues exist temporarily. There is an effort to keep these things minimized. Everyone has been very helpful and informative, especially the builder's supervisors on site. Sometimes issues have lingered longer than we would like (since we like to get things done immediately), but they do get resolved. We are pleased to be here. ... More

From the sales team to the delivery team and after support team we have been treated very well. The teams are very professional and care about us and their products.

It has been one month since we moved in. We had no major issue, except one week delay due to electricity permit from the town. K. Hovnanian paid for our hotel for that week. The house is beautiful, well done. After we moved in, we had our own inspector to do a report and it came back clean. Also, we had our home insurance sending their rep to check on the quality of the structure and windows and the same results – well built. The only branch that made us wonder was the Escrow Company. K. Hovnanian team was very nice and helpful; the only issue was that the materials used for the cabinets and doors are not as high quality as i expected. Other than that, everything was fine.

KHOV does not allow future owner conduct professional inspection before closing. A red flag .They promise you one year warranty after the purchase; however, half of the issue they push it back as cosmetic. I hired a professional inspector after the closing, 55 pages report with pictures of findings. Some of those , according to the certified inspector, in violation of code . So its now been 35 days since our closing and we have numerous aka punch list items that have not been addressed that we all supposed to be completed in 21 days. But our only communication is done when we reach out to them. The 2nd level of our home is so warped & un-level that the company we hired to install our engineered wood floor has told us its impossible to get the new floors even with out bumps due to the ply wood that is warped from rain & being installed to tightly. So after spending 458k & putting down $300k with the expectation of demoing in another $50k to get the home how we want it, it's now looking like we are fixing the builders issue to correct the home. Also we have found soda bottles with soda in them behind our bathroom walls & water bottles filled with chewing tobacco behind the walls. Yes we are redoing the bathroom tiles ourselves since all the high gloss tiles were installed with scratches all over them..... Total nightmare! ... More
