Not a terrible experience overall. Workmanship is so so, but they are pretty responsive to any issues that come up. Working with their Financing company is terrible so if you can get your own financing I would highly recommend that

We are now going on for five months since we have move to our new house and so far we have two toilet bowls that have clogged. This is just for regular use, object was put in, just regular use and appropriate toilet materials. I suspect the toilet bowls are the cause. ... More

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was somewhat understandable that their office was limited interacting with their clients; however, it was very difficult getting to them for questions we had while trying to buy and close our house with Lennar. They were always late responding to our emails and phone calls. We had to try multiple times to get the answers we need in order to move on to the next step. During the last few days while closing the house, it was hard to contact them with questions and to find out the status of the closing process. After we moved into our new house, the customer service response to our service requests have been poor, delayed and frustrating. There were many issues we found at the time of final walk-through before we moved in, but only half of the list was repaired by the time we moved in. We found more and more items that required the repairs, but Lennar's response has been insincere and dishonest. They promised that all items we put into the repair list will be taken care of as soon as possible, but until today, they have only managed to repair few things on the list, i.e. 30% of the items in the list. We had to keep asking the same thing over and over until one or two items on the list get taken care of, then no response from Lennar customer service rep. Only a trickery and falsifying promise was given whenever we made requests for the repairs. In addition, the house has so many issues that need the repairs, we were so disappointed on the workmanship and the materials Lennar used to build the new house for the buyers. ... More

Landscaping is poor. No weed barrier on mow hill. Garage completed without a primmer coat, which is horrible. Trouble matching interior paints. Response time to have issues completed is sub-par. Sales team was amazing, huge props to Rosalie and Kathy. ... More

We love the house itself. We were disappointed that Lennar only installed 1 outside hose spigot in the middle of the enclosed patio and also 1 "inside" of the garage. Both are difficult to use. We had to spend a lot of money to trench the side yard to install water to the back yard. The grading in the back was terrible and we, again, had to pay quite a bit to grade it before landscaping. Lots of small things were wrong and at first the response to fix them were quick, and now we just wait and wait until someone corrects other issues. There were problems in front parkway where water lines burst twice. The workers ripped out all the plants and as of yet have not replaced them. We've asked several times to have that taken care of, but no help there. Our air conditioner slipped out of housing in attic because it wasn't fastened correctly and had to be reattached, then the repair man noted that a lot of the ducts were not even sealed and he taped those for us. We have had several damaged windows and some have been replaced. Now have noticed a cut in the slider door. Also plaster is cracking around family room window and no response yet. Seems like a lot of small problems considering the amount of money charged for this home. We are a bit disappointed with overall quality. ... More

Need to slow down the construction a bit and put a little more pride in the build. After purchasing my home I began to see the “quick fix” repairs around the house. Also do a better job with the fencing. There are three different fences in the community. It looks tacky. ... More

Inspect your new home on your first walk through and final walk through. Don’t sign off until EVERYTHING and anything you want fixed or changed is done. If you sign off and then complain later their responds will be, “ You signed off on the home.” Take a contractor you trust to inspect the home prior to signing off. ... More

Sadly, the information from one team to the next gets lost. The client has to constantly remind them of what was told and by whom. Obviously, the client will do it since they are making such an important investment, but the support and guidance provided by Lennnar, especially to first homebuyers, is subpar. Lastly, quality of materials, attention to detail and overall value for the price paid is questionable. There is a general lack of refinement with many details. ... More

We just recently bought a home in Rosena Ranch from a Lennar community. Since we've moved in, we have had to call service quite a few times for issues that should not be happening in a new home. For example, our handrail on the stairs are already having separation from the wall. It is under warranty and will get fixed, but it is very inconvenient especially because the contractors have to schedule so far out. These things should not be happening in a new home. I don't know if I trust Lennar's workmanship. The backyard was done very cheaply as well and all the neighbors complain about the amount of mulch that was put in. ... More

If I didn't have an amazing Realtor this would have been an even worse experience. My best advice is really do your research on materials because the options they provide (carpet, tile etc)never look the same once installed. I will be having many things replaced (windows and doors) some things were just thrown together in the build. Better communication with their lender would also improve the process ... More

The quality of detail put into this house is one of the worse I’ve seen for a builder. You can tell they used some of the cheapest contracting companies around. When trying to correct this issues, you’ll get the run around for months. It’s been five months and I’m still trying to get them to fix items. It’s said that you pay a lot of money for these houses and your treated like scum. Document everything, because you’ll probably be bringing them to court. ... More
