Our experience was very satisfying. The only problem was with the suggested lender. They had us sending and resending info. Since I don’t have a fax, my charges at Office Max was $20-$30 each time. It became so frustrating that I ended up going with a different lender. A tip of mine would be definitely not go with the suggested lender. I later heard that we were not the only one with the lender problem. The agent Lynette that we dealt with was very helpful and answered all our questions. ... More

I love my home and dealing with the construction staff. The sales staff wasnt as top notch as the construction staff.

Follow up fixes/repairs well organized and with few exceptions fixed all item.

Details such as scratched appliances, chipped counters, scratched bathtubs/showers were things I readily spotted through out the house after moving in. I also didn’t realize the house didn’t come painted like the model, the dining lighting wasn’t included, and the front landscaping is a joke. The landscaping looks nothing like the model. They literally put in random plants in no specific pattern. Ive already changed the lighting over the dining table as the cheap chandelier they put in looked nothing like the model. This review may sound negative but it’s actually not, I do love my house. I just find all the small details extremely annoying as I’ll have to fix it later $$$. I’m already planning on replacing the bathroom counters as the chips and stains I didn’t notice until after closing really annoy me. I’m also planning on completely redoing the front yard to look somewhat more decent, half of the cheap plants they put in are dead. They didn’t really choose appropriate drought tolerant plants for direct light etc. All in all, I’d recommend Lennar, but know that all included comes at the cost of the fine details. ... More

- Lennar NOT honoring certain inclusive items. - Addressed to the Lennar Home Care personnel of a discrepancy on a certain appliance to be fixed after closing of escrow. Will not help and left the responsibility to the new homeowner.

Lennar service and all is great. In my opinion the upgrades should be different. Why no money back when not using tiles or carpet. Why not more freedom for upgrades for kitchen. Material use is cheap. Why not full flooring and then place kitchen island. Etc etc. should be a possibility to get discounted on kitchen and pick own kitchen and store. All is made simple for builder. But maybe I am spoiled with how things get done in the Netherlands. ... More

It’s too early to tell about the quality of the workmanship, but Paul and Alex were great. They answered and responded to questions in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is with Bruce, the new home consultant. He was more of a sleazy car salesman than someone there to actually help you through the process. I would never purchase another Lennar house if he was there. ... More
