The quality of the workmanship was subpar. Some issues are too large to be resolved, like drywall texture on most walls of the house. Overall lower quality product.

The house is nice but trying to get any issues corrected is nearly impossible. Not sure I’d go with Lennar again.

The bones of the house seem pretty good but pick any detail and you will likely find flaws. It appears from the things we have experienced that the actual people doing the work have no pride in workmanship. Also the construction manager we happen to get has been very non communicative. The water smells heavily of sulfur. This should have been disclosed when we bought the home. We replaced the anode in the water heater with an aluminum one which was a temporary fix. I asked Lennar to replace it with a titanium one because the aluminum anode has already been eroded. I was told it was not their issue to fix since it was water quality. Yet, I believe since they didn’t bother disclosing the high sulfur in the water reacting negatively with the metal in the water heater would be an issue, it is partly their problem. It would be different if we weren’t willing to invest the money in our home to fix the problem which we have. We’ve added a water softener, purifier, and as previously mentioned, replaced the anode in the water heater. I’m simply asking for help replacing one last thing to try to make it work and was told no. Now I’m left crying every time I take a shower wondering why I didn’t do a better job of researching the area before moving. ... More

The home buying experience was tainted by the Lennar company, Eagle Home Mortgage, which made the entire process so stressful and they ignored entirely the impact every delay, and there were numerous delays by Eagle Mortgage. They did not care a little finger that every week they delayed, cost us, the customer, more in lodging, loan points, and utility charges from scheduling service starts, then having to reschedule them, appliance deliveries has to be delayed, orders changed or canceled. It was the worst experience we have ever had in home buying and this was our 6th home. Aside from that, our home was built fairly well, and during our acceptance only a few smallish repairs needed, and the construction manager handled those well. Eagle Home Mortgage, for us, was unprofessional to the point of amateurish and bumbling. Never once were we apologized to for their ineptitude and wholly unsatisfactory customer service. In fact, after all the delays, due to their incompetence, they had the gall to charge us more points because of those delays. I recommend never using Eagle Home Mortgage, if you can avoid them. ... A lot of little details were left undone just to push the sale. Plants were dead not enough mulch irrigation heads messed up water bill has been high because of lack of repair. A/C unit went out in 3 months.

My house has had 3 plumbing issues in 3 months. They've had to rip walls down, take out the floors and appliance, and repaint. I lost work time, my family and friends had to take time while all this work was done. Let's just say Lennar does not keep good on their promises. The issues with my front and back yard grass are not being taken seriously. I was told anything wrong pertaining to the grass would be replaced, now I’m being told I have to wait an entire year before it can be replaced.

If Lennar had spent just 1 or 2 more weeks rather than rush to close the home before the end of their fiscal quarter and month, the home would have been in a better quality. Same issue with everybody in the neighborhood. Lennar definitely preyed on the goodwill and naivete of first time home buyers and dangled the 1 year "bumper to bumper" warranty to get their inventory sold. First time home buyers beware! I would not recommend a Lennar/Village Builder new build to anyone. Thankfully, the issues are fixed one by one and the home is in great shape now. ... More
