Understand normal new home shortfalls, but the workmanship was a bit sloppier than we expected from a large, reputable public company like Pulte.

I love my new home. Once we signed the papers to close the contractors were not responsive to issues. We are almost 60 days into owning the home and are waiting for our 30 day walk through. Other than that, the house is great!

I discovered a couple of issues in the construction and service. The Pulte provided a decent quality of service until the closing date. After signing on all the required paper, my request or inquiry email is not well responded. Follow-up appointments extremely hard to schedule. Pulte mortgage didn't do their job thoroughly, failing to pay to insurance company. No show for follow-up service, etc. ... More

Project manager tried very hard to stay on top of crews, but fell short in drywall and paint. Drywall was not installed properly and we tried to hang a ceiling fan only to have 5 nails pop out in the ceiling. Down the hallway you could see the drywall bow and swerve in and out. The kitchen is great. Everything else is good but not as good quality as we were expecting with what we paid for it. It looks very nice at first glance, but once you move in you notice so many details that were missed (like bathroom counters half an inch away from the wall on one side, etc.). Beautiful home, but moved in with multiple issues. Construction and cleaning crew did a poor job leaving paint spatters throughout the house on the outlets, carpet, windows, and tile floors. It took 2 months to get water heater to work properlt and two main walls downstairs are visibily bowed. Warranty officer is extremely responsive and has resolved issued quickly as trades are available, but shouldn't have to fix so many problems prior to us moving in... ... More

Overall nice home but they do not allow for ANY customization which is a significant disappointment considering how expensive these homes are. They have a decent selection of finishes, but upgrades are costly from base selection and even basic items are costly to upgrade. Overall feel of house is nice and would only change a few things like increase the size of the garage and adjust layout of the basement if the builder would allow. Very disappointed with the amount of issues that the home had since moving in, and the amount of time it is taking to get these issues addressed and resolved. My closing date was 11/15/19, and as of now (1/08/20)I still have approximately 20 items on my list that I continue emailing to your team on a weekly basis. Quite a few of these issues were pointed out prior to moving in, and did not get addressed at the time. Overall, the home is great! The design studio was amazing and staff super friendly. Kerry was very helpful at answering our questions and making sure our home had the specific upgrades we wanted. However, we closed on the home from across the US and there were still many things wrong when we moved in. There were many issues flagged during the walk through that were supposed to be fixed, but were not. We are trying to put in warranty calls, but no one answers and the automated system doesn't allow for voicemails. Stepping on nails/carpet tacs in each doorway, severely cracked granite countertop, and a giant spot on the outside of the home that needs painted... no answers! The home design and office staff are great. Quality of materials, build, and follow through... poor! ... More

Should have 3 total walk throughs. Because when work isn’t done at 2nd walk through...and you are heading to closing, it puts you in a bind.

It’s taken quite a while to get my warranty issues resolved and it’s difficult to get return calls. I have requested 3 warranty issues be resolved in mid November and only one has been fixed.

The experience didn’t feel personal. For the amount we are paying for the house I expected better communication and follow up from Pulte’s end. I also expected better results from the vendors you used. It felt as if they didn’t care and our home wasn’t really a priority for them with how careless they were with some of their work. I still don’t have a mailbox! I was told it would be about 3 weeks. It is now 2 months. They put up a temporary but the post office will not deliver. I have to go to the post office to get my mail. I called but still no resolve.

When I did the walk through I did realize there was so many issue with the house. I moved in and immediately found several poor workmanship problems that had to be fixed. The good thing thing is Pulte has a good warranty team/program.
