We love our new Pulte home! It has luxuries that we never dreamed we could afford. The home is affordable and comfortable. The new neighborhood is also very nice and well planned. Our realtor has been very helpful.

We recently purchased a home from Pulte. We are very happy with the our home and the process as the home was being built. Pulte brings years of home building expertise and it shows throughout the home building process.

Despite a few minor setback, our overall experience with Pulte from day one was a positive one. Our saleslady was very knowledgeable, personable, & replied to emails & phone calls in a very timely fashion. The design center experience was a fun one as well. Our project manager was very communicative with us in every step of the build process. He also answered questions & responded to concerns we raised in a very timely fashion. Securing our financing through Pulte Mortgage was not difficult, but our loan officer, though very friendly, could have been more helpful. We weren't provided with many different loan products or scenarios to fit out budget. We had to do our own research of available loan structures & bring them to her attention. Fortunately, Pulte offered the same products that others did, we just didn't know about them up front. The overall construction of our house met our expectations. It was completed faster than we thought, which raised some concerns that certain things may have been rushed or overlooked. One example was the interior paint job. Most rooms in the house either had a very thin layer of paint or a lot of drywall overspray in spots. We paid for upgraded paint inside the house, & we don't feel we got our money's worth. There were a few other disappointing things as well, but nothing that was a deal breaker. For example, midway through the build process, they decided to change the vanity in the master bathroom to one that had fewer drawers & less functionality. We were not really given a decent explanation for this, & my wife was very upset about it (still is). Another example was the way they went about installing tubes inside of the walls to hide cables for wall-mounted TV's. It was not done how we were lead to believe. It ended up being an incredible headache. Aside from a few other negligible things, we are very satisfied with our new home. This process went very smoothly for us. Any setbacks we experienced were weather related and the team worked hard to mitigate these issues. Great shopping experience, it was not difficult to find a home design that really worked for us. Of course I would have picked every upgrade available, if we didn’t have a budget! we actually started off with J.T. as our site manager and we loved him ! then around the time of our drywall inspection we got switched over to Hector and we were hesitant just because this was not only our first "new build" but our very first home buying experience. however once we met Hector and talked to him for a bit we were relieved at how amazing he was. he made sure to always get back to us whenever we reached out and over all we just got the feeling that he really cared about everything that was going into our house. Hector is just awesome overall and i really hope every customer Pulte has gets the same experience that we got with Hector. The only reason we gave the 4star on quality of workmanship was we just feel some things (mostly paint) was rushed a bit. just had alot of splatter on like baseboards light switches etc. ... More

Pulte is a very professional organization, vertically integrated to make the buying process easier. I was incented to get my mortgage and homeowners insurance from them and saved all my closing costs. From start to finish, I closed in under 30 days. I highly recommend them as a quality builder in NC, and have had more positive experiences than working with Toll Brothers for my last house in 2000. I down sized for my retirement home with this purchase, and the technology is amazing compared to my last "luxury" home. We love the RDU area and Pulte has done a great job with their developments.
