My husband and I are very happy with our home purchase. We had our first leak due to a punctured drain pipe (TV mounted incorrectly) and Pulte graciously fixed it for us. I would definitely recommend.

Overall very happy however have had some issues with things falling apart which have been fixed but it has been sort of a hassle. Overall, very pleased so far.

Do a thorough inspection of your new home. I found a few things that need fixing. Luckily it's under warranty. Door sticking, Rattling noise in the air vent, hole on the master bathroom dry wall, hardwood floors has scratches in bedroom, hallway, kitcken, kitchen cabinet pullout drawer where stuck missing screws, front porch and back patio ceiling needs to be repainted. Overall i like the new home and would like to thank my construction manager Mr. Aaron who did a great job in helping fix many of the issues that i pointed before handover and after handover. He took great care of us during the final inspection to explain every single detail on how to take care of my new home , maintenance contact etc. I dont have to follow-up on the issues i mention, he takes care of arranging someone to address the issues. I really like his customer centric approach. Except for the initial hiccups with purchasing (lot prices not being considered equally) and price being hiked-up. i like my home and appreciate the construction team who built the house and delivered on time. ... I am very pleased to have bought a condo at Highcrest from Pulte homes. Pulte Holmes has been around for a long time and can be trusted for offering quality home and a fair market price. The process of going through the purchase, mortgage(I financed through Pulte) and closing was an extremely stress-free and pleasant experience. The only surprise perhaps was that a garage space was optional and therefore came at an additional coast - this became clear only when started discussing the pricing. Keep up with the builder on updates. It is fast and fluent process.

The wood floor isn't flat and has noise. The garage door has big noise and a gap when I closed. The wall is a wallpaper, it's easy to off the wall.

Worksmanship can be iffy, but the builders will fix anything wrong/poorly done promptly.

The house is ok, no major issues. Since it’s a builder-grade, HOA-community house, the choices on some items important to us were limited, such as quality of materials and availability of finishes. The mass-production approach also doesn’t take into account end-user experience. Due to these two factors, it will require substantial rework, something we were hoping to avoid by buying a new home. Before closing make sure all repairs/corrections have been made to your satisfaction. We had some minor issues that were still pending and were told at the final walk-thru they would be taken care of after the closing. When trying to schedule it became somewhat of a challenge. Did not receive a prompt response to service request. For example, when I requested adjustment to water pressure and temperature, I was initially told to call a plumber myself. Eventually, service was provided but had to make multiple contacts. Issue could have been handled more efficiently. ... More

We love our new home however I think that there were some corners that were cut that gave us the impression that is less then expected. For instance, unfinished walls that aren't covering electrical wiring in the garage, the storage area and the furnace area. We love our new home and definitely feel like it is a beautiful, quality build. However, as soon as we moved in we began noticing area after area that needed small repairs and touch-ups, mainly cosmetic. We are currently working with the warranty department to fix over 2 dozen things. Most (not all) of the problems are only cosmetic, but they have left us frustrated and feeling as if the subcontractors (particularly the painters) were not properly supervised. For example, the ceiling/wall paint edging needs to be redone throughout almost the entire home because it is uneven and sloppy, there are holes in the stucco left from the scaffolding, and the landscapers got rocks in the sewer line (causing it to back up and spill sewage into our garage from the tankless water heater drain). The warranty department has been extremely helpful and responsive, but we are still left with a situation in which we need to miss work for at least several days in order to have 9 different subcontractors come and fix the various problems. We would have much preferred to have had the closing pushed back a few days rather than to be dealing with this hassle now because they rushed so much at the end and made mistakes that weren't obvious during our final walk-through. It's disappointing that such a nice home had such ridiculous superficial mistakes made, and so many of them. To be honest, it has us wondering if other, less visually obvious mistakes were made as well. Time will tell, and hopefully the warranty department will continue to be as wonderfully responsive. ...
