The quality of workmanship brought all the ratings down. While our contact person has been very responsive their are way too many building issues.

Alina was excellent (realtor in the neighborhood). I have purchased several new homes from large builders like John Wieland (Atlanta) and David Weekly (Dallas). One point of separation that I think WCI could improve upon is the final walk through just before closing. The cleanliness of the home and attention to all details was inferior to new homes we have purchased from similar national companies (and a custom builder in Atlanta). Aside from the Tiffany champagne glasses (thank you), the overall final walk through was mediocre and we spent the first day cleaning floors, windows, pavers, smudges etc.. An improvement here would elevate and separate the WCI brand from Lennar. Building and protecting your brand image (WCI) is vital.. or people will stop buying it. Hope that is helpful. T ... More

Great neighborhood. Building experience was not worth the problems. Two months late at least. The loan experience was not competitive with my other options but no choice. If I had to do it again I’d buy a resale.

We experienced a very trying home build process that was over two months late and had significant challenges with quality workmanship. WCI/Lennar was difficult to work with during the process since they don't really want home owners around during the process. They are a production builder and prefer to have buyers purchase the home from them once complete. Our salesman was great but had little control during the build process. ... More

The sales process was great but the building process is terrible. All the contractors are focused on is quickness not quality. I have had nothing but issues ever since I signed the paperwork. Lennar's response is to through their hands up and say well there is nothing we can do now. The warranty guy has addressed what he could. For us to pay as much as I did for a house that in my opinion was not finished WCI used cheap contractors that do not care of the outcome because they get paid either way. I wish I could recommend WCI or Lennar but at this point they still have work to do. ... More

We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the cabinet installation. Every cabinet had numerous marks and rubs and several were significantly damaged during installation. Despite these issues being noted during our walk through nothing was done for 4 months even after repeated requests on our part. Even then the damages were not addressed. Overall, we are extremely disappointed with the follow up on punchlist items. There was a span of a full month between closing and move in and another two.months when the house was unoccupied. We offered open access to WCI to have their subcontractors come back and make the necessary repairs, but nothing was done. ... More

Building materials extremely poor quality: Sherwin Williams Paint: Final product isn't even of "primer" quality. All walls are not washable or scrubbable so they all need to be redone with high quality paint. Sherwin Williams paint stores said "Yeah that's our cheapest product". "Our exterior paint only lasts five years". Windows: Lawson brand: many issues. Their rep came out to fix issues and said "the windows you have are our cheapest we make". Cabinets: Very poor quality. Their rep who came out for an issue said "this is the same product you can get at Home Depot, just under a different label". Pool: Extremely poor quality. After two months the finish was cracked and pitted. The whole pool had to be drained and resurfaced Walls: No insulation in the walls. Not soundproof. Can hear everything from room to room No attention to detail: Whole project is rushed. Many, many issues throughout. Shower water line had hole in it that slowly leaked over time and flooded the bedroom. It was from the sheet rock contractor who put a screw through the line upon installation. The contractors are hard working but no attention to detail. Upon repairs under the "one year warranty", the contractors who repair an issue, make additional problems upon completion of their work. Was told by one of the renovation teams "Lennar has so many houses with roof issues from leaking, sure I will be seeing you during hurricane season". Frightening! Unfortunately the Lennar houses are rushed with low quality materials, no attention to detail and many issues. Would definitely not recommend ... More

The construction manager and VP of construction were the worst. There were issues they refused to fix. I literally had tears buying this home because I knew it was not a quality home. I felt I had no choice because the lease was up on my rental and they already had a family moving in. This was supposed to be my forever home. No exaggeration this was the worst experience ever and I've been deployed and put in some crazy situations. I don't know how you all are number one, it is not for quality, integrity and workmanship that's for sure. The home warranty guy has been the only positive experience. ... More

Sales staff told us several thing where included-never happened. Just to list a few-Electrical plugs in living room floor, blind package included, hallway arches, kitchen cabinets molding, pre wired for pendent lights. Delivery date 5 month off, causing us to rent elsewhere. Permits not issued correctly- delaying home, builder made changes after construction started never reported to County. Roof trusses left in the mud and rain for over 2 months- result mold and several damaged trussed installed. Told me they would clean with bleach- can not clean a porous material-wood with bleach. Must be scrubbed and treated. Spent hundreds of dollars to have test run to prove something they already knew. Only driven by money-little or no concern for the costumer or doing with right. ... Being a Real Estate Broker whom represent customers/clients with selling and buying pre-existing and new construction homes, I was very disappointed in the customer services provided. I was also disappointed with the cheap materials used to build the homes most importantly the workmanship. The work is not being completed by professionals. We had a total of 5-6 pre-closing walk throughs. Each walk took a minimum of two-three hours. By no means should it had taken that many walks to sign off all of the interior and exterior issues that were found. By the time we made it to the last walk through my husband and I were over it. We demanded that they get the painters, the individuals that were responsible for caulking and grouting. We had to walk them through every room pointing out what needed to be done and stand over them to make sure it was completed properly. There is no quality control. There is no one that follow up to make sure all of your concerns during your walk through were taken care off prior to scheduling your next walk through. If it was this would have made the process much smoother. I'm not sure if the problems exist because Lennar is short staffed or individuals don't care about their jobs nor the home buyers. Changes were made to our elevation/ plans that we did not agree on. We are still waiting on things to be fixed/repaired. Especially the noises that are coming from our return vents in all (5) of our bathrooms. We contacted Lennar and Lindstrom and requested this issue be resolved. Guess what, we are still waiting. If I had a place to upload photos of the workmanship that was completed on this home, I would do so. It is horrible! To purchase a new construction home and have to call someone out to correct the mistakes /issues that the builder should have taken care of is beyond ridiculous. I've purchased two new construction home in the past from GL Homes. This by far was the worst. It's all about the dollar and turn over with Lennar not the home buyers. I could go on and on. However, I'm sure nothing will change. I feel sorry for the clients/customers who are not in the real estate business and just don't know. The ones who enter the office and sign on the dotted line without representation. Lennar will get away with telling them anything. This review probably won't make it on your review board however, at least you know what you are dealing with. Email me a request for photos and I will gladly provide them so you can see for yourself. ... More

The Home specialist was misleading in the sense that she was not informed on matters pertaining to our home. When asked questions she referred us to other departments in Lennar. Our closing was greatly delayed, our exception list was not finalized, our warranty tickets stayed open for weeks before the CV19 pandemic happened, now we sit uncertainly of knowing when they will address them or if they will address our issues. Terrible experience, really. After we close we didn't receive any welcome packages nor a sign in our door to say that it was private property, which allowed every sub to come in unannounced. Really, this is a totally lack of customer support starting with the home specialist all the way through the construction managers. Terrible experience. ... More
